This boutique-style hotel boasts the best of a coastal lifestyle and is Newport Beach at its best... casual, comfortable and chic in equal measure! Explore the hotel here. Our workshop location is just a stroll away from Lido Marina Village, which offers al fresco dining waterside and the opportunity to explore a mix of charming shops. The Speaker Lineup

Aly Morford co-founded Pure Salt Interiors with best friend and business partner Leigh Lincoln in 2015, with a vision of creating inspired spaces, products, and experiences that encourage people to live deeply in each moment through clean, natural, and functional design. She brings an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit to Pure Salt, allowing the business to accelerate its growth through creativity, strategic risk-taking, and hard work. Founded on the philosophy that the home is the foundation for life, Aly is committed to creating beautiful yet functional family-friendly spaces where life’s best moments happen. 

As the Co-Founder of Pure Salt Interiors, Leigh Lincoln has helped build the firm into a leading design studio known for its clean, natural, and functional interiors that are also approachable and family-friendly. She brings a unique combination of creative and business experience honed from over a decade of senior management at some of the country’s most prestigious ad agencies. She leads from the heart and skillfully brings together the needs of the client with her own creative vision for a successful partnership. Together she and Aly created a proprietary, highly flexible, and fully-transparent three-phase process that invites anyone to take part in the Pure Salt lifestyle.

Gail Davis is renowned for crafting elegant interiors that feel soulful, livable, and personal. For 15 years, she has applied her formal design training to homes across the country, transforming houses into her clients’ forever homes. Though her spaces are steeped in classical decorating principles, she is passionate about crafting interiors that are comfortable, functional living spaces. Gail studied at New York School of Interior Design and honed her craft interning at two of New York City’s most prestigious firms—Bunny Williams Inc. and David Kleinberg Design Associates. She is also the host of Design Perspectives, an industry-leading podcast welcoming design experts and covering topics to inform and educate creatives.

Kristen Forgione is the Founder and creative force behind THELIFESTYLEDCO design firm and retail shops, specializing in a minimal and modern aesthetic called, Organic Desert Living. After ten years in career fields from finance to hospitality, it was her stint in Los Angeles fashion school that reignited her childhood passion for all things color and design. Now calling Arizona home, Kristen's firm has led the west coast design market since 2012 with clients nationwide, a design studio, retail shops and a team of desert loving designers and support staff.

With nearly a decade of experience in creating digital editorial content, Melissa Baran's passion is to inspire others to infuse their everyday moments with beauty and intention. She launched Haven in August 2018 with a distinct mission to create an online community—one that thoughtfully connects inspiration seekers with lifestyle creatives, by delivering quality content and empowering entrepreneurs. Shortly after, she set forth the inception of the Haven Workshop, a boutique-style learning experience for designers. In 2021 she launched Haven's first retail shop.

Renee Bush founded Tandem to address the conflict that often arises in the space between creativity and structure in business. She knew there was a better way to achieve success—by creating a sharp vision and building systems that work in tandem with the design process instead of trying to control it. Tandem puts design at the center of everything we do. We look at each client, business, and vision individually to find the best possible solution to align with our client’s values and desired goals. Renee is a business-minded problem solver. She understands the interior design industry, knows how to get straight to the heart of any issue, and always has a creative solution up her sleeve. Renee has worked with design firms including Studio McGee, Light & Dwell, Boxwood Avenue, High Street Homes, Susannah Holmberg Studios and more.

Investing in ourselves is one of the hardest things to do, but one of the wisest decisions we can make as business owners. Not only will our workshop equip you with the tools you need, but you’ll get a behind the biz look at how our incredible experts have blazed the trail. The answer? Now is the perfect time. Additionally, our workshop also provides you with the opportunity to network with other attendees who will becomes friends. These relationships are priceless and will help your business grow, far beyond our 3 days together.

I haven’t launched my business yet, should I wait to take this workshop until I do?


We’ll put it to you this way—our speakers are actually excited to learn from one another at this workshop! They each approach their business models slightly differently and have various strengths they will be touching on. While we will be covering a lot of basics on getting a design business up and running, and further growing your entrepreneurial game, this experience is so much more than that. It’s an opportunity to learn different processes, next level ideas and creative ways to approach your business goals. Not to mention, the opportunity to learn from and network with the other attendees. I’ve been in the industry for a few years. HOW WILL THIS WORKSHOP HELP ME?


Yes absolutely! We have a 5-month installment payment plan option available for our Fall 2022 event. The payment plan option is $790 per month for five months during early bird enrollment—this is a more accessible option for those who wish to pay over time. You will be charged the first installment when you signup and the remaining installments each month until your payment plan is complete.

There's no denying the design industry is full of educational resources and tools—from design markets to online courses and more. It's important to embrace all of those resources, but we saw a gap in the fusion of learning & connecting, in-person. Our workshop may only be a few days, but those three days can change SO much. We specifically designed a boutique-style event with luxe touches because we believe this is a moment to be celebrated. Investing in yourself and your business is a huge step and one that we don't take lightly. Our speakers and industry experts have all been hand-picked for their incredible ability to thoughtfully share their experiences with you, candidly—and, give you actionable steps.

i'd love to attend, but I'm not sure I can justify the investment right now. What makes it worth the price?


We get it! If an in-person workshop isn't in the cards for you right now, we completely understand. We currently do not offer online courses, but hope to in the future. We decided to start our educational offerings in the form of in-person workshops because we've seen first-hand how face-to-face events have truly been catalysts for business owners. As mentioned, many of us have attended or spoken at other events and we can say with confidence that nothing is comparable to the real conversations you will have, the laughter, the tears, and the openness of your fears, struggles, goals and achievements with your fellow entrepreneurs and mentors.

this sounds amazing, but I'm SO busy and would prefer to do an online course. Do you OFFER online learning?


Yay! We can't wait to meet you! We recommend staying at Lido House Hotel, which is where our classroom sessions are held. We will be getting a room block with a discounted rate for Lido House 60-90 days prior to the event and will send this info to all attendees when available. Rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis and discounted rates are not guaranteed.

To make our event as safe as possible and minimize the spread of COVID-19, we'll be implementing the following practices in guidance with Lido House.

+ Classroom seating will be social distanced only if required by hotel

+ Masks practices will follow city and venue guidelines at the time of event

+ We'll be updating best practices for masking as we near the event and receive new information from the county and Lido House

+ Meals will be outdoor dining on beautiful Lido Lawn (weather permitting)

+ Food will be both on individually plated meals and buffet style, unless guidelines change

+ All Lido House staff have been vaccinated 

+ A hand sanitizer station will be available

+ Please bring your own masks as they will not be provided

+ For those guests staying at Lido House, Mobile check-in and key, service requests, and room service orders delivered right to your door are available via the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app
